Action on Illegal Constructions

On the receipt of the complain from the  complainant , letter for site inspection is sent to both the parties i.e. complainant and respondent. After carrying out the site inception , notice is issued to the respondent to show cause why the illegal construction shall not be demolished . On the receipt of the reply from the respondent the matter is fix for personal hearing before the chief officer . The chief officer issues the final appropriate order  based on the merits, documents evidence etc. The MMC there after sends requisition  for demolition squad to Deputy Collector , south Goa .The demolition squad carries out demolition of the illegal structure under the supervision of MMC Engineers.
